Our Final Quarterback Rankings Before the 2026 Fantasy Football Season (Top 24)

Published Updated

This is the last time these fantasy football quarterback rankings change before Week 1.

Kendall Valenzuela and Peter Overzet go through Fantasy Life's final preseason quarterback rankings and stop on the names where the room genuinely disagrees. Both tiers come with the full consensus list plus each player's highest and lowest rank across the staff, so you can see exactly where the confidence is and where it isn't.

The top twelve opens with the question that decides your whole draft approach at the position: do you spend a second or third-round pick on one of the two elite options, or do you wait entirely? Then a look at why a pure pocket passer is ranked ahead of quarterbacks with far more rushing upside.

Then the strangest number on the board — a quarterback who was the QB1 in points per game from Week 5 on last season and still lands at QB9 in these rankings. And a head-to-head between two pocket passers going within a few picks of each other.

The QB2 range gets into the two quarterbacks who have a real case for the top twelve and didn't make it, and closes with each of them naming a favorite late-round stab at the position — which, in a year where you can wait this long, is where most people should actually be shopping.
